ABOUT THE KOREAN PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH OF ADELAIDE
The Korean Presbyterian Church of Adelaide began in 1976 with a small but dedicated group of korean immigrant followers of Christ, who gathered for worship and fellowship. As the congregation grew in both size and faith, so too did its impact on the local Korean community.
In 1986, a new chapter unfolded when Reverend Kwang-Shik Moon was ordained and appointed as the head pastor. With his appointment, the church experienced a renewed sense of mission, as his leadership deepened the church’s spiritual foundation and expanded its outreach. His compassionate leadership and dedication to serving the community have shaped the church’s direction and deepened its commitment to spiritual growth, outreach, and unity.
KPCA aim to be a mission base, sharing the Gospel of Christ's salvation with our Australian neighbours and the over 120 nations that have settled here with us. KPCA is committed to spreading God's love and message of hope to all who join the community - a community united in love and faith.
